As seen on BBC1 Master Chef and voted as one of London's Top 100 Restaurants; Chef Paola Lopez showcases the food of her home, with an incredible Mexican Menu. Expect lots of flavour, open fire cooking and mezcal cocktails – with floor-to-ceiling windows and dramatic views across the London skyline.

We are now looking to grow our team, and are seeking dynamic individuals who will capture the very essence of this culinary destination and join our team as a Decimo Waiter.

Your role

As a Decimo Waiter at The Standard, London, you will become part of an exceptional team with an exciting future. You will of course be passionate about service, with an very strong working knowledge of restaurant operations and order of service, and a deep appreciation for quality food, wines and cocktails – so you can confidently match and suggest combinations that will compliment guest choices and enhance their overall dining experience.

Finally, and most importantly, you will be a host to our guests adding a touch of personality and theatre to their experience, making our guests feel welcome whilst they visit The Standard and our energetic and vibrant city; so you will need to be highly social, upbeat and friendly; confident and can handle pressure well; thrive in a busy high volume, high energy environment and can manage multiple tasks and guest with ease.

• Strong experience as a Waiter, ideally gained in a similar ‘Lifestyle’ boutique hotel, destination, or high-level restaurant
• Passion for great food, wine, cocktails, design, and service!
• Confidence and expertise in guest experience, restaurant operations, and the order of service
• Highly social, motivated and pro-active; acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions
• Flair for service and the ability to build genuine relationships with guests
• Available full-time and fully flexible Tues-Sat, as well as the ability to work late-night (Thurs-Sat)
• Knowledge of Spanish / Mexican cuisine, open fire cooking, wine, mezcal and tequila is a plus
• Relevant qualifications such as WSET are a plus
