Position Overview:

CFT Recycling is seeking a skilled and reliable Fabricating Welder to join our team. This role involves welding, fabricating, and repairing metal components and equipment used in our operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in their workmanship, values safety, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

The wage for this position is $25-35 per hour based on your skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform stick welding on various metal components and structures
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair equipment and machinery as needed
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and structural integrity
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
• Work on roll off containers, trucks and other special projects

Qualifications:
• 5-10 years experience as a fabricating welder is required
• Proficiency in stick welding is required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Physically capable of lifting, bending, and working in a shop environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Valid driver’s license is a required
