We are looking for a crew of efficient, safety-minded people to aid our organization in our construction development.

Shanghai Construction Group Canada Corporation is a Construction Company for Building and Tunneling. Now we are hiring full-time Dump Truck Driver for Tunneling Division.

Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Operating truck in safe and professional manner on public highways, roads, in the yard area and at various job sites to deliver materials. Material material could be: dirt, rocks, sand, coal, or gravel.
• Responsible for assisting in the loading of the truck; hauling the materials to the construction site; dumping the contents of your vehicle into the appropriate location
• Responsible for conducting mechanical & safety inspections as required and performing necessary maintenance; refer major problems to the supervisor.
• Responsible for checking fluid levels, tires, lights, and other controls for safe operation.
• Responsible for various administrative tasks including filling out Field Level Hazard Assessment, toolbox, timesheet etc.
• Monitor various gauges during operation of vehicle.
• Assure product quality to the best of the Driver’s ability.
• Follow safety policies and procedures while loading, traveling and on jobsites are essential in this role.
• Attend toolbox talk meetings and safety meetings as required.
• Have a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Possess good communication skills and be able to communicate with supervisors, colleagues, etc. in a polite and professional manner at all times.
• Obey applicable driving rules and regulations, follow dispatch instructions.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in operating Dump Truck (End Dump)
• Must be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug screening
• Safety tickets are an asset

Schedule:
• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Potential Overtime
