PLUMBER / ELECTRICIAN/ MASON/ CARPENTER in Manama

As per the Ministry of Labour and Social Development, the minimum wage for driver roles in Bahrain is 300 BHD per month for Bahraini nationals and 200 BHD per month for expatriates as of January 2026. Overtime must be paid at 1.25 times the hourly rate after 8 hours daily. This applies to all private sector transport employers registered with the ministry.

As per the Labour Market Regulatory Authority, expatriate drivers require a valid work permit sponsored by a Bahraini employer plus a residence visa valid for 2 years renewable. Applications must be submitted through LMRA's online portal with a 100 BHD fee and medical fitness certificate from a government-approved center before arrival in 2026.

As per the Ministry of Labour and Social Development, driver positions require a valid Bahraini or international driving license held for at least 3 years plus completion of secondary education. Heavy vehicle drivers need an additional 5 years experience and a commercial endorsement certificate issued after 2025.

As per the Labour Market Regulatory Authority, applicants must submit a passport valid for 6 months, attested educational certificates, driving license copy, police clearance certificate from home country, and 4 passport photos. All documents require translation into Arabic and submission via the employer to LMRA by March 2026.
