Job SummaryCoordinate maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement of mechanical equipment within the Packing Plant.Ensure all maintenance activities on packing machines, conveyors, palletizers, compressors, and loading systems are carried out in accordance with established safety, quality, and operational standards.Minimize downtime and ensure maximum availability and efficiency of packing plant equipment.Key Duties And ResponsibilitiesGenerate and manage work orders for identified mechanical and electromechanical faults within the packing plant.Prioritize and assign maintenance tasks to technicians based on operational urgency.Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of:Packing machines (rotary packers)Belt conveyors and bucket elevatorsPalletizers and truck loading systemsAir compressors and auxiliary systemsEnsure all maintenance works comply with plant procedures, safety standards, and environmental regulations.Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical breakdowns in coordination with production teams.Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvement actions to enhance reliability and efficiency.Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and update maintenance logs.Support spare parts planning and inventory control for packing plant equipment.Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Section Head, Packing Plant Maintenance.Education And Work ExperienceEngineer’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related discipline.Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in cement manufacturing, packing plant operations, or heavy industrial environment.Skills And CompetenciesStrong knowledge of installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of packing plant mechanical systems.Good understanding of cement packing processes and equipment operation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good leadership and team supervision abilities.Good oral and written communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and CMMS is an added advantage.Résumé du posteCoordonner la maintenance, les réparations et l’amélioration continue des équipements mécaniques au sein du Packing Plant (atelier d’ensachage).Veiller à ce que toutes les opérations de maintenance sur les machines d’ensachage, convoyeurs, palettiseurs, compresseurs et systèmes de chargement soient réalisées conformément aux normes de sécurité, de qualité et aux standards opérationnels établis.Minimiser les arrêts et assurer la disponibilité maximale et l’efficacité optimale des équipements du packing plant.Principales missions et responsabilitésGénérer et gérer les ordres de travail pour les pannes mécaniques et électromécaniques identifiées dans le packing plant.Prioriser et attribuer les tâches de maintenance aux techniciens en fonction de l’urgence opérationnelle.Superviser la maintenance préventive et corrective des équipements suivants :Machines d’ensachage (ensacheuses rotatives)Convoyeurs à bande et élévateurs à godetsPalettiseurs et systèmes de chargement de camionsCompresseurs d’air et systèmes auxiliairesVeiller à ce que toutes les interventions de maintenance respectent les procédures de l’usine, les normes de sécurité et les réglementations environnementales.Diagnostiquer et résoudre les pannes mécaniques complexes en coordination avec les équipes de production.Surveiller les performances des équipements et recommander des actions d’amélioration pour renforcer la fiabilité et l’efficacité.Assurer une documentation correcte des activités de maintenance et mettre à jour les registres.Soutenir la planification des pièces de rechange et le contrôle des stocks pour les équipements du packing plant.Effectuer toute autre tâche confiée par le Section Head, Packing Plant Maintenance.Exigences clésFormation et expérience professionnelleDiplôme d’ingénieur ou équivalent en Génie Mécanique, Génie Électromécanique ou discipline connexe.Minimum de cinq (5) ans d’expérience pertinente dans l’industrie du ciment, les opérations d’ensachage ou dans un environnement industriel lourd.Compétences et aptitudesSolide connaissance de l’installation, de la maintenance, du dépannage et de la réparation des systèmes mécaniques du packing plant.Bonne compréhension des processus d’ensachage du ciment et du fonctionnement des équipements.Forte capacité d’analyse et de résolution de problèmes.Bonnes compétences en leadership et supervision d’équipe.Bonne communication orale et écrite.Maîtrise des applications Microsoft Office.La connaissance des systèmes de maintenance préventive et des CMMS constitue un avantage supplémentaire.
