Job Description
- Ensure that the vehicle license, insurance and permits are valid before driving the vehicle.
- Maintain the vehicle clean, inside and outside, during the duty.
- Report immediately to seniors the mechanical problems, traffic accidents or damages found in the vehicle.
- Perform pre-trip/ post-trip vehicle inspections and complete daily inspection form.
- Drive trucks following scheduled routes through permitted roads.
- Dump waste or recyclable materials at the designated disposable sites.
- Maintain the vehicle clean, inside and outside, during the duty.
- Maintain safe and efficient operation of waste collection.
- Ensure that all waste is fully contained at all times and there is no waste leaking while driving the vehicle.
- Maintain safe and efficient operation of solid waste collection and transport equipment and vehicles.
- Interact positively with various stakeholders, including clients, seniors and peers.
- Deal with the public in courteous and polite manner, creating a good impression of the company and its recycling services.
- Record all completed work using paper or electronic receipts (i.e. waste manifest)
- Transport waste according to the vehicle waste permit and Policaty request.
- Responsible for the operatives in his/her vehicle.
- Follow Veolia policy, procedures and work instructions.
- Follow the planned schedule to ensure timely delivery.
- Verify the types of waste being loaded on the vehicle to ensure that it is fit with the vehicle’s waste permit and capacity.

- At least 2 years of proven experience in the same position in industrial services and preferably waste sector experience.
