Responsibilities
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements and material specifications.
• Install intricate trims, moldings, and other aesthetic features with precision and care.
• Construct custom cabinetry and built-in furniture according to client specifications and design plans.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to confirm finishing plans and timelines.
• Perform detailed sanding, staining, and finishing on wood surfaces for a perfect finish.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform carpentry tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Oversee the procurement of materials necessary for project completion and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Inspect and test installations to verify compliance with building standards and project specifications.
• Repair or replace damaged or defective components to maintain the structural integrity of projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to safety regulations and guidelines.
• Offer training and guidance to junior carpenters to enhance their skills and understanding of finishing carpentry.
• Continuously upgrade your skillset by learning and applying new finishing techniques and materials.

Requirements
• Proven experience as a finishing carpenter or relevant field experience required.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and materials, including wood species and hardware.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with an ability to think creatively on solving carpentry challenges.
• Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment both safely and effectively.
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details to deliver quality craftsmanship.
• Solid knowledge of building and safety regulations to ensure compliance in all projects.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision.
