The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the fabrication, installation, and finishing of metal doors, windows, and handrails ensuring structural integrity, aesthetic quality, and compliance with safety and building standards. This position is critical to delivering high-quality interior and exterior metalwork across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, contractors, and site supervisors to ensure timely execution, precision craftsmanship, and adherence to design specifications. With a strong foundation in welding techniques, material handling, and safety protocols, this role demands both technical expertise and a commitment to excellence in a fast‑paced construction environment. Responsibilities - Fabricate, assemble, and install metal doors, windows, and handrails using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, and stick welding). - Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and design schematics to accurately execute metalwork components. - Perform precise cutting, shaping, and fitting of metal materials (steel, stainless steel, aluminum) to meet project specifications. - Conduct quality inspections and make necessary adjustments to ensure structural soundness and visual appeal. - Maintain and clean welding equipment, tools, and workspaces to ensure safety and efficiency. - Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations on‑site and in the workshop. - Collaborate with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow, resolve issues, and meet project deadlines. - Assist in material preparation, including measuring, marking, and aligning components prior to welding. - Document work progress and report any defects, delays, or safety concerns promptly.
