Job Description
Job Summary

The Exhibition Carpenter Foreman is responsible for supervising carpentry works for exhibition stands, kiosks, and event structures. He ensures high-quality workmanship, timely completion, safety compliance, and coordination with designers, supervisors, and other trades during fabrication, installation, and dismantling.Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage a team of carpenters, helpers, and subcontractors

Interpret exhibition drawings, shop drawings, and 3D designs

Plan daily work activities and allocate manpower effectively

Ensure accurate fabrication, installation, and finishing of exhibition stands

Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, electricians, painters, and graphics teams

Monitor material usage and minimize wastage

Ensure all carpentry work meets quality standards and client requirements

Follow site safety rules and ensure workers use PPE

Handle on-site modifications and urgent changes during exhibitions

Ensure timely installation before show opening and proper dismantling after events

Report daily progress and issues to the project/site manager

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of exhibition carpentry and joinery

Ability to read technical drawings and layouts

Leadership and team management skills

Time management and problem-solving ability

Knowledge of tools, machinery, and materials used in exhibition works

Basic understanding of HSE / safety standards

Ability to work under tight deadlines and night shifts

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5–8 years experience in exhibition carpentry or fit-out works

At least 2–3 years experience as a Foreman

Experience in exhibitions, events, kiosks, or custom joinery

UAE experience preferred

Ability to communicate in English (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is an advantage)
