Job Description
Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable housekeeper/cleaner for one of our resorts in Al Ain. This role is essential in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing the overall guest experience by ensuring all spaces are immaculate, well-maintained, and compliant with health, safety, and operational standards. With a strong commitment to quality and efficiency, the housekeeper/cleaner will contribute directly to the reputation and operational excellence of our establishment.

Responsibilities
• Perform daily cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, lobbies, elevators, and public areas.
• Restock and replenish all guest amenities, linens, towels, and cleaning supplies in a timely and organized manner.
• Follow standardized cleaning procedures and checklists to ensure consistency and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or equipment malfunctions promptly to the supervisor or housekeeping manager.
• Handle and dispose of waste and hazardous materials according to environmental and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning tools, chemicals, and supplies.
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks including carpet shampooing, window cleaning, and upholstery care as required.
• Collaborate with team members to meet cleaning targets and support peak occupancy periods.
• Adhere to all company policies, hygiene standards, and guest confidentiality protocols.
• Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and discretion when interacting with guests and colleagues.

Requirements
• Minimum 13 years of proven experience in housekeeping or cleaning within a hospitality environment (hotels, resorts, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using standard cleaning equipment and chemical products safely and effectively.
• Basic understanding of health, safety, and sanitation practices in hospitality settings.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
