Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver with a valid manual driving licence to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods and materials efficiently and safely, ensuring timely service to our clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, or delivery services to utilise their skills in a dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for those who take pride in their driving abilities and customer service.

Responsibilities
• Safely operate light vehicles, including vans and flatbed trucks, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptly.
• Deliver goods and materials to various locations within designated areas, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo, employing proper handling techniques to prevent damage or injury.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for each trip undertaken.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including adherence to COVID-19 protective measures where applicable.

Skills
• Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver, with a valid manual driving licence.
• Strong driving skills with a good understanding of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance basics.
• Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
• Experience operating flatbed trucks or similar vehicles is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
