Job Description
Responsibilities - Interpret architectural drawings, blueprints and design plans to fabricate and install custom woodwork components. - Construct, assemble and install interior cabinets, doors, shelving units and decorative wood features with precision. - Perform onโ€‘site measurements, adjustments and installations to ensure perfect fit and alignment. - Work with a variety of materials including plywood, MDF, solid wood and veneers applying appropriate finishing techniques. - Maintain and operate woodworking tools and machinery safely and efficiently. - Collaborate with interior designers and project supervisors to ensure design integrity and compliance with project specifications. - Ensure all work meets quality, safety and building code standards. - Manage material inventory, minimise waste and report any supply shortages promptly. - Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area at all times. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fit, finish or structural integrity during installation. Requirements - High School Diploma or equivalent qualification. - Minimum of 25 years of handsโ€‘on experience in interior carpentry with a proven track record in cabinet and door fabrication and installation. - Demonstrated expertise in woodworking techniques including joinery, sanding, staining and finishing. - Proficiency in using tools such as table saws, routers, planers and power drills. - Strong understanding of interior design principles and spatial planning. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across teams. - Valid UAE work visa sponsorship (50% sponsorship available or flexible office arrangement). - Eligibility for medical insurance coverage provided by the employer. - Age not exceeding 38 years. - Nationality: Indian, Pakistani, Syrian, Egyptian, Lebanese. Salary & Benefits AED 1800 to AED 2500 per month. - Valid UAE work visa sponsorship (50% sponsorship available or flexible office arrangement). - Medical insurance coverage provided by employer.
