About the Role

JOB DESCRIPTION

Light Duty Driver

Qualification: Minimum a high school passed

Experience of at least minimum 3 years as a driver and familiar with all locations in Dubai

Availability to take weekend and night shifts

A polite and professional disposition

Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations

Skills: Knowledge of reading and writing in English

Familiarity with GPS devices/Google maps

Physical strength and ability to lift materials along with co workers

Reports to: Site Engineer/Foreman

Duties & Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Light Duty Driver include, but are not limited to:
β€’ Driving clients/Staffs/Laboure’s daily to their desired destinations
β€’ Proper communication with Supervisors and co workers
β€’ Ensure that all the instructions are clear before proceeding the works
β€’ Strictly follow company rules and regulations
β€’ Maintaining the vehicle safe and clean
β€’ Ensuring the vehicle documents are valid and available in the vehicle
β€’ Switch OFF the engine if the vehicle is not using and avoid Idle time
β€’ Using navigation apps to determine the best route
β€’ Record the trip sheet/ Vehicle log daily basis and handover to the site office without fail
β€’ Collect payments and issue receipts as per instructions
β€’ Ensure the vehicle is clean and comfortable for all riders
β€’ Supporting the site people for loading and offloading of materials .
β€’ Periodically checking and schedule regular vehicle service appointments and report any issues.
β€’ Follow the safety rules and regulations .
