Job Description
Job Purpose:

To perform skilled carpentry work in maintaining, repairing, and installing wooden structures and fixtures, with a specialization in gypsum ceiling works and full-height gypsum wall installations within residential, commercial, or industrial facilities under Facility Management contracts.

Qualifications & Experience:

· High school diploma or vocational training certificate in carpentry or civil works.

· Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a carpenter, with proven skills in gypsum ceiling and wall systems.

· Experience in FM projects in the UAE or GCC region preferred.

· Ability to understand technical drawings and work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform general carpentry tasks including doors, frames, furniture, and cabinetry repairs.

· Install and repair gypsum ceilings, including suspended gypsum designs.

· Construct and install full-height gypsum partition walls as per layout and specifications.

· Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

· Measure, cut, and assemble wood, gypsum boards, and other materials using hand and power tools.

· Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.

· Respond to maintenance work orders and complete tasks within set timelines.

· Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in good condition.

· Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.

· Coordinate with other trades for integrated maintenance and renovation works.
