Job Description
Job Purpose:

To ensure the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of school staff while maintaining high standards of vehicle safety, cleanliness, and compliance with UAE regulations and school policies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate the assigned school light vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to UAE traffic laws and school policies
• Follow designated routes and schedules for staff pick-up and drop-off, ensuring punctuality at all times
• Ensure passengers comply with safety rules and maintain appropriate behavior during transit
• Assist in maintaining order and discipline within the vehicle
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects or maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate records such as route logs, time sheets, and incident/accident reports
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, presentable, and well-maintained at all times
• Report accidents, delays, or incidents promptly to the supervisor
• Support the transport team in operational requirements, including special trips or school events
• Comply with all GEMS policies, procedures, and code of conduct
• Attend meetings and carry out additional duties as assigned by management
