Roles & Responsibilities

Job Title: Certified Security Guard (SIRA/ASSD Licensed)

Primary Objective:

To protect the client’s property, assets, and personnel by maintaining a highly visible presence,

enforcing regulated access control, and responding effectively to emergencies in full compliance

with UAE Federal and Local Laws.
• Mandatory Regulatory Requirements (Eligibility)

Valid License: Must possess a valid Basic Security Guard license issued by SIRA (Dubai) or

ASSD (Abu Dhabi/Northern Emirates).

Police Clearance: A Good Conduct Certificate or Police Clearance Certificate from the UAE

authorities.

Education: Minimum of High School Certificate.

Language: Professional fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing). Basic Arabic is highly

preferred.
• Key Responsibilities and Duties

Access Control & Visitor Management

Authenticate identities using the Emirates ID.

Manage vehicle entry and exit logs, ensuring all visitors are authorized.

Conduct physical searches at sensitive sites/store.

Patrol & Surveillance

Conduct regular foot or mobile patrols of the assigned perimeter to identify safety hazards or

security breaches.

Monitor CCTV systems in accordance with SIRA’s technical specifications.

Ensure all fire exits, alarm panels, and emergency equipment are unobstructed and functional.

Emergency Response & Incident Reporting

Act as a first responder in case of fire, medical emergencies, or security threats.

Coordinate immediately with Police, Civil Defense, or Ambulance services via the 999

emergency line.

Draft & Incident Reports (IR) in English, following the standardized format required for legal

and insurance documentation.

Compliance & Professionalism

Adhere strictly to the Uniform Code (properly pressed uniform, badge displayed, polished

boots).

Maintain the Security Logbook with timestamped entries, which is subject to random

inspection by government auditors.

Uphold the UAE’s cultural values and public order regulations while interacting with diverse

nationalities.
• Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Proficiency: Ability to operate Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP) and basic security

software.

Conflict Resolution: De-escalating tense situations without the use of unauthorized force.

First Aid Firefighting: Basic knowledge as provided in the SIRA/ASSD training modules.

Observation: High level of situational awareness to spot, suspicious behavior as defined threat assessment protocols.
