Job Description
Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and certified 6G Welders with proven ADNOC project experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform precision welding on critical piping systems in all positions, ensuring compliance with stringent oil & gas industry standards, project specifications, and ADNOC HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform 6G welding on pipes in all positions (horizontal, vertical, overhead) using approved processes such as GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Stick), and/or FCAW
• Interpret and follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), PQRs, isometric drawings, and piping layouts
• Prepare joints for welding, including beveling, grinding, cleaning, and alignment
• Execute root pass, fill, and cap welding with high precision and quality
• Ensure welds meet applicable codes and standards such as ASME Section IX and API standards
• Perform visual inspection of welds and ensure compliance with NDT requirements (RT, UT, PT, MT)
• Repair defective welds and carry out grinding and re-welding as required
• Maintain proper welding parameters and consumables as per procedure
• Ensure proper handling and storage of electrodes and filler materials
• Follow ADNOC HSE policies, safety procedures, and permit-to-work systems at all times
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work area in safe working condition
• Coordinate with pipe fitters, supervisors, and QA/QC teams to ensure work quality and progress

Requirements
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a 6G Welder in oil & gas or petrochemical projects
• Mandatory ADNOC project experience
• Valid 6G welding certification (ASME Section IX or equivalent)
• Proficiency in GTAW and SMAW welding processes (additional processes are an advantage)
• Strong understanding of welding codes, standards, and inspection requirements
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and WPS documents
• Good knowledge of safety practices in hazardous work environments
• Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in challenging site conditions

Preferred Qualifications
• Additional certifications in multiple welding processes (e.g., GTAW + SMAW combo)
• Experience in shutdowns, turnarounds, or offshore projects
• Familiarity with ADNOC QA/QC documentation and procedures
• Basic knowledge of English for communication and safety instructions

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per hour
