Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Stainless Steel (SS) Welder to join our metal fabrication team. The ideal candidate will specialize in welding stainless steel components with precision, ensuring high-quality finishes suitable for industrial, architectural, or decorative applications.

Key Responsibilities:
β€’ Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications
β€’ Perform stainless steel welding using:
β€’ TIG (GTAW) – preferred
β€’ MIG (GMAW) – as required
β€’ Fabricate SS components by cutting, fitting, and assembling
β€’ Ensure clean, smooth, and contamination-free welds (no discoloration, warping, or distortion)
β€’ Grind, polish, and finish stainless steel surfaces to required standards (mirror, satin, brush finish)
β€’ Inspect welds for strength, accuracy, and visual quality
β€’ Perform tack welding and alignment for complex assemblies
β€’ Maintain welding machines, tools, and consumables properly
β€’ Follow strict safety and hygiene standards, especially for food-grade or decorative SS work
β€’ Work closely with fabricators, supervisors, and engineers to meet deadlines

Requirements:
β€’ Proven experience as a welder in a Metal fabrication environment.
β€’ Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety procedures.
β€’ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
β€’ Proficient in using tools such as angle grinders, clamps, measuring tools, etc.
β€’ Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
β€’ Certification in welding (AWS or equivalent) is a plus.
β€’ High school diploma or technical training in welding/fabrication.

Must have minimum 5 years’ experience as PU Painter cum Wood Polisher.
