3-Ton Pickup Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced 3-Ton Pickup Driver to transport paper rolls and palletized paper cartons safely and efficiently between our factory, warehouses, and customer locations. The driver will be responsible for ensuring proper loading, securing, transportation, and timely delivery of goods while adhering to UAE traffic laws and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a 3-ton pickup truck for local transportation
• Ensure safe loading and unloading using forklifts or pallet jacks, coordinating with warehouse staff
• Secure paper rolls and pallets properly to prevent damage during transit
• Inspect cargo before departure and upon delivery for quantity and condition
• Plan routes to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries
• Maintain delivery documents such as delivery notes, gate passes, and PODs
• Conduct daily vehicle checks (tires, brakes, lights, fluids, cleanliness)
• Report vehicle issues, delays, damages, or incidents immediately to the supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle
• Comply with UAE road traffic regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
• Assist in warehouse or yard activities when required

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License (3-Ton Pickup)
• Experience handling paper rolls, pallets, or heavy cargo preferred
• Knowledge of safe cargo securing methods (belts, ropes, pallet straps)
• Familiar with UAE routes, industrial areas, and delivery locations
• Physically fit to assist with loading supervision
• Basic understanding of delivery documentation
• Ability to communicate in English (Arabic is an advantage)
• Good attitude, punctual, and safety-conscious

Preferred Skills:
• Experience working with paper mills, corrugated box plants, or packaging companies
• Basic vehicle troubleshooting knowledge
