Job Description
We are currently seeking a Security Officer – UAE National, reporting directly to the Head of the Department to join our team based in UAE, Abu Dhabi.

Security Officer – UAE National

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the site, employees, visitors, assets, and operations. The role supports access control, patrols, incident reporting, and emergency response activities to ensure a secure working environment.

Key responsibilities
β€’ Monitor and control access to the site, including employees, visitors, and vehicles.
β€’ Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect suspicious activity or security risks.
β€’ Check identification, permits, and entry authorization in line with site procedures.
β€’ Observe CCTV systems and report any unusual activity, incidents, or breaches.
β€’ Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security-related incidents.
β€’ Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain security logs and records.
β€’ Support implementation of site security procedures, safety rules, and emergency protocols.
β€’ Coordinate with supervisors, HSE, and site management when required.
β€’ Assist in maintaining order at site entry points, gates, and surrounding areas.
β€’ Escalate incidents and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements
β€’ UAE National only.
β€’ Previous experience in site security or facility security is preferred.
β€’ Knowledge of access control, patrolling, and incident reporting.
β€’ Good observation skills and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
β€’ Physically fit and able to work in a site environment.
β€’ Strong discipline, reliability, and professional conduct.

Preferred skills
β€’ Experience with CCTV monitoring and visitor control.
β€’ Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.
β€’ Good communication and reporting skills.
β€’ Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.

Security Supervisor / Site Administration / Operations Manager, depending on project structure.
