Job Description
The Food Server is responsible for delivering a refined and memorable dining experience by providing professional, attentive, and personalized service to guests in a luxury dining environment. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality while maintaining the highest standards of service excellence aligned with Mohamed Hilal Group standards. Key Responsibilities Guest Service & Experience Welcome and escort guests to their tables in a professional and courteous manner. Present menus, explain dishes, and provide detailed recommendations based on guest preferences. Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen and bar teams. Ensure all guests receive prompt, personalized, and attentive service throughout their dining experience. Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests professionally and efficiently. Handle guest feedback and complaints with professionalism and escalate concerns when required. Food & Beverage Service Serve food and beverages according to luxury dining service standards. Ensure proper table setup, presentation, and cleanliness before, during, and after service. Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials. Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery. Monitor tables regularly to ensure guest satisfaction and dining comfort. Upsell menu items, signature dishes, and beverages to enhance guest experience and revenue generation. Operational Responsibilities Prepare dining areas before service, including station setup. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas at all times. Follow company standards regarding grooming, hygiene, and uniform presentation. Ensure all service equipment and operating supplies are properly handled and maintained. Assist in opening and closing duties as assigned by management. Hygiene, Safety & Compliance Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Ensure safe handling of food, beverages, and service equipment. Teamwork & Collaboration Work closely with fellow service staff, kitchen team, and management to ensure smooth operations. Support colleagues during busy operational periods. Participate actively in team briefings, trainings, and service improvement initiatives. Performance Expectations Deliver exceptional luxury dining guest experiences consistently. Maintain high service quality, professionalism, and attention to detail. Demonstrate strong teamwork, punctuality, and reliability. Achieve guest satisfaction and support revenue growth through effective upselling. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in a luxury restaurant, fine dining restaurant, hotel, or upscale hospitality environment preferred. Strong understanding of luxury dining etiquette and service standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. Fluency in English required; additional languages are an advantage. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
