Job Description
Position Overview

The Plumbing Foreman is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing all plumbing and drainage works across construction projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, local authority regulations, and safety standards. The role involves managing manpower, ensuring quality installation, coordinating with other trades, and supporting smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Execution
• Supervise daily plumbing activities across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Read, understand, and execute works as per approved shop drawings, coordination drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure correct pipe routing, levels, slopes, and proper installation of sanitary fixtures.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of plumbing and drainage systems (water supply, sewage, waste, pumps, water heaters, etc.).

2. Quality & Compliance
• Ensure all installations comply with relevant local authority regulations.
• Verify pressure tests, leak tests, and overall workmanship before inspections and handover.

3. Manpower & Material Management
• Lead and supervise plumbers, helpers, and assistants; assign tasks and monitor daily productivity.
• Ensure availability and efficient use of materials, tools, and equipment, control wastage.
• Prepare and communicate material requirements in advance.

4. Coordination & Reporting
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, HVAC, fire and other trades to avoid clashes.
• Work closely with Site Engineer / Project Manager for planning and progress updates.
• Report daily progress, delays, and site issues; assist during consultant/client inspections.

5. Health, Safety & Housekeeping
• Enforce HSE rules and ensure all team members follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Conduct toolbox talks and promote a safety‑first culture.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas at all times.

Skills & Requirements
• Experience: 5–7 years’ experience in plumbing and drainage works or; UAE experience preferred/required.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, sanitary fixtures, valves, fittings, authority guidelines, and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage site productivity.
• Good coordination and reporting skills.
• Basic computer literacy and able to use MS word and excel for daily reporting, material list and documentation.

Education & Additional Preferences
• ITI / Diploma in Plumbing or equivalent technical qualification.
• Availability to join immediately is preferred.
