Dimapur is the commercial hub and the only railhead in Nagaland. From Tufanganj, the journey covers 500 km through the plains of Assam. You will travel via NH 27 and then connect to NH 29 near Nagaon. The drive takes approximately 12 hours. Dimapur is the gateway to the rest of Nagaland, including the capital, Kohima. The route is well-traveled and offers a glimpse into the diverse landscapes of the North East.
