The journey from Rudraprayag to Yamunotri covers approximately 210 km through the rugged terrain of Garhwal Himalayas. You will primarily travel via NH 34 and NH 134, passing through Srinagar, Chinyalisaur, and Barkot. The drive typically takes 8 to 9 hours depending on road conditions and traffic. Since there is no rail connectivity to Yamunotri, road transport is the only viable option. The route offers stunning views of the Bhagirathi and Yamuna river valleys.
