The journey from Leh to Haridwar is a transition from the high-altitude desert of Ladakh to the spiritual banks of the Ganges. Since there is no direct connectivity, you must fly from Leh to Dehradun (Jolly Grant) and then take a taxi or bus for the 50 km drive to Haridwar. Alternatively, you can fly to Delhi and take a train like the Shatabdi Express to Haridwar. This route connects the Buddhist heritage of Ladakh with the Hindu pilgrimage sites of Uttarakhand. Plan for at least one full day of travel.
