Traveling from Dinhata to Gangtok involves crossing from West Bengal into the Himalayan state of Sikkim. The route covers 230 km and takes approximately 8 hours via the Teesta River valley. You will pass through Siliguri and Sevoke before entering the winding mountain roads of Sikkim. A permit is not required for Indian citizens to enter Gangtok, but carry valid ID proof.
