The journey from Devprayag to Yamunotri covers 200 km through the scenic Garhwal Himalayas via NH 34. This route takes you through Barkot, the base for the final leg of the journey. The drive takes approximately 7 hours, depending on road conditions. Public buses and private taxis are the primary modes of transport. Yamunotri is a sacred pilgrimage site and the source of the Yamuna River.
