Kohima is the beautiful capital of Nagaland, situated in the hills. To reach Kohima from Bongaigaon, you first take a train to Dimapur and then hire a taxi or take a bus for the remaining 75 km uphill drive. The road from Dimapur to Kohima is scenic but winding.
