Reaching Gangtok from Bilga involves a combination of rail and road travel. You must first reach New Jalpaiguri (NJP) station, which is the primary rail gateway to Sikkim. From NJP, you can hire a shared or private taxi for the 120 km drive to Gangtok. The road journey takes you through the scenic Teesta River valley. This route is famous for its winding mountain roads and lush green landscapes.
